What You Will Need

• Color printer

• Cutting machine such as a Silhouette or Cricut 

  • Or, you can use the PDF file and print then cut by hand with scissors or a craft knife.

• 8.5 x 11-inch Cardstock (white heavy photo cardstock or matte cardstock for best results).

• Adhesive foam.

Cricut PNG Print-then-Cut Instructions

Using the Cricut is straightforward:

1. Upload the printable PNG file to Cricut Design Space.

2. Select the "Flat Graphic" option (the full-color version) when uploading; do not use the Background Remover.

3. The grouped design may be too large initially. Before ungrouping, reduce the size to 7 inches wide by 5.3 inches tall.

4. Follow the directions from Design Space to print and then cut the designs.

5. After cutting, simply fold each card in the middle.

6. Finally, use adhesive foam to adhere each layered piece to its tag.

Silhouette Studio Print-and-Cut Instructions

For Silhouette Studio users, you can use the dedicated Studio3 file or the PDF:

Using the Studio3 File:

1. Upload the Studio3 file and set the Media Size to Letter ($8.5 \times 11$ inches) with Portrait Orientation in the Page Set Up window.

2. Turn the Registration Marks on in the Print and Cut window, adjusting the images to fit within the marks if needed.

3. When sending the design to cut, set it up to cut by Line:

   • Black Solid Lines: Cut.

   • Red Dashed Lines: Score.

   • Transparent Lines: Uncheck and do not cut.

4. Fold each card at the score line.

5. Adhere each layered piece to its tag with adhesive foam.

Using the PDF File (Manual Cut):

1. 1. Print the PDF file using your color printer.

   2. Carefully cut the pieces out with scissors or a craft blade.

   3. Fold the cards at the score line.

   4. Use adhesive foam to attach the layered piece to its tag.

Finished Size Note

These tags are designed to be 1.75 inches wide by 2.5 inches tall when folded. However, you have the flexibility to make them any size within your printer and cutting machine's parameters.
