Activity 1

Samoa research

For this activity please read through the powerpoint about Samoa.

Once you have read through the slideshow create a blog post about Samoa. Remember to include images or drawings to make your post interesting for the reader.

Language

For this activity watch the two video clips on greetings in Samoan.

Once you have watched these videos, create an animation using Google Slides using greetings in Samoan.

Activty 3

Samoan design

Reasearch Samoan designs then create your own. Be creative!

I have given you three examples to get you started.

Once you finish, take a photo of your design and add it it to your blog with an explanation of your design.

Activity 4

Samoa's flag and crest

For this activity you need to draw/replicate Samoa's flag and crest.

Once you have done this, take a picture and add it to your blog. Remember to include a small blurb about the flag and crest, this could be the history and meaning behind them.

Activity 5

Art/Design

Choose an activity (or three) from the Free Draw Challenge!

Once you finish, take a photo and put this on your blog. We will also be putting these up on display in the shared space.

Challenge!

You will be learning a traditional Samoan dance. Boys, you will be learning a Samoan slap dance and girls, you will be learning a traditional Samoan dance (siva).

Note: Please only do this challenge when you have completed at least 2 other activites.
