STEPs Literacy Programme

  • All children have now been signed up for STEPs. You will have been emailed their username and password.
  • The programme covers the core knowledge and skills needed for reading and spelling, including vocabulary, comprehension and reading fluency. Games and other activities also practise visual and auditory memory skills.

Word Lab

Choose 10 different words each time.

  • Write the words in Rainbow colours
  • Write the words forwards then backwards
  • Cut letters out from a magazine
  • Write a sentence for each word
  • Find the dictionary definition for each word
  • Make a word find for those words
  • Write each word 3 times
  • Create image and hide your words in the image
