A few notes and reminders:
Our 100th day of school is Wednesday, March 4th. Students may wear a 100 day shirt or dress like they are 100 years old on this day.
Students may wear a Dr. Seuss themed shirt on Friday, March 6th if they would like.
Our 3rd 9 weeks test will be given the week of March 9th. Remember this test is given for us to see what we need to work on before the final test in May. The test in May determines if your child passes to first grade.
Spring break is March 23-March 27.
Please practice the DIBELS sheets that are in the plastic sleeves or your child’s folder each night. I will also send home additional practice sheets over the next few weeks. We will take our Final DIBELS assessment on April 9th. It is very important that your child does his/her very best.
Please practice the heart words that are listed above. Also, be sure to practice the fluency pages that are in the plastic sleeves of your child’s folder.
Please make sure you are putting your child’s name in all jackets, coats, and sweatshirts.
Please send a snack and refillable plastic water bottle with your child EVERY day.
Send extra clothes in your child’s backpack, labeled with their name in a ziploc, in case of an accident. These can be left in their cubbies.
Sign up for Mrs. Cheek’s Remind by texting @bcsk-cheek to 81010.
Students are marked tardy if they arrive in class after 7:40.
According to school dress code, jackets must be solid black, grey, or navy with no hood. Please make sure you write your name somewhere in their items.
