~~~The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd 9 weeks assessments do not count as a grade towards passing or failing Kindergarten. They are just scored to let us know what skills your child has mastered and what skills they still need to work on. However, the 4th 9 weeks/ FINAL Kindergarten assessment will determine if your child is promoted to 1st grade. They must score at least an 85% or higher in both areas of Reading AND Math.*~~~
**Please take note that this sheet has both a front AND a back.**
At the time of each assessment, we will assess your child in other areas also, but they are not calculated into their grade. This will be a “progress report”. This is just to see where they are at so that we know how to better help them during our daily intervention time in the classroom and so you can better help them at home. We will send home a copy of this progress report with your child’s assessment score/percentage sheet. These additional skills on the progress report will be as follows.
