Beehive Science and Technology Academy (BSTA), is a college preparatory charter school located in Sandy, Utah serving students in grades 6 through 12, focusing on math, science and technology. BSTA offers a variety of programs, small class sizes, a rigorous curriculum and a variety of after school programs including award winning teams and clubs like Chess, Math Counts, FIRST Lego League, and FIRST FTC Robotics. Beehive Academy was recognized as Charter School of the Year in 2016 by the Utah Association of Public Charter Schools, and as one of America’s top high schools at beating the odds by Newsweek in 2015. They have also been designated as a Platinum STEM school by the Utah STEM Action Center for their comprehensive STEM learning environment.
