Mr. Richards is a History Professor at the University of Massachusetts; he also taught at San Francisco College and University of Hawaii. Some of his work specializes in Shay Rebellion, like his book Shays's Rebellion 

Gordon S. Wood is a historian who studied Shays' Rebellion. He argues that the rebellion showed the weakness of the Articles of Confederation and helped push leaders toward creating the U.S. Constitution.

Richard D. Brown is a historian who is currently a history professor at the University of Conneticut most known for his work on colonial, revolutionary, and  early american society.
