The 2023-2024 Band Schedule and Supplies are posted below. Please contact Mrs. Wickham with any questions.

Save-the-Dates: 2023-2024 Concert Dates are Thursday, December 7th and Thursday, May 2nd. Please note that the Spring Concert is the week we return from April Vacation.

Please click here for the 6th Grade Band Supply List, and be sure to have the following items for all lessons and rehearsals.

- 1" Binder with Sheet Protectors
- Pencil
- Agenda book (school provided)
- Chromebook (as needed)
- Tradition of Excellence Book (Book 1 from 5th Grade)
- Tradition of Excellence Book 2 (blue book) for October
- Instrument with reeds, oil, cleaning kit, etc.

6th Grade Band Lesson Schedule 2023-2024

In-School Lessons begin Tuesday, September 5th, 2023

Please note that saxophones and percussion have a different day of the week this year.

Lessons take place during IA class time:

Mondays: Clarinet First lesson Monday, September 11th (there is no school September 4th)
Tuesdays: Flute First lesson Tuesday, September 5th
Wednesdays: Percussion First lesson Wednesday, September 6th
Thursdays: Brass (Trumpet and Trombone) First lesson Thursday, September 7th
Fridays: Saxophone First lesson Friday, September 8th

6th Grade Before School Band Rehearsals 2023-2024

Please be sure to bring home all items the night before rehearsal as there is no classroom or locker access before 8:40am. (Band starts at 8:00am).

Full band rehearsal takes place on Thursday mornings before school. The first rehearsal is Thursday, September 14th. Students are dismissed from the cafeteria at 7:55am and rehearsals begin promptly at 8:00am. You may drop your student off at the cafeteria as early as 7:30.
