For children and adolescents experiencing crisis, NH Rapid Response Team is designed to provide a quick and seamless response out in the community through the deployment of mental health clinicians and peer support/recovery coaches directly to the person(s) in need. Children, Teens, and Suicide Loss - This resource, from the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, provides guidance on how to understand and explain suicide to children/teens, and how to navigate the immediate aftermath, how to support and help your child cope. It also provides additional resources.

Talking About Suicide - This resource provides guidance to parents on how to talk to their child after a death by suicide. It outlines what to say and provides specific examples and language to use.

The AFSP provides facts about suicide, help to those who are impacted by suicide in various ways, stories to relate to, and additional resources and information.

The SPRC provides information on suicide and best practices in prevention. It also links additional news articles and resources.

Drug Prevention

SAMHSA provides additional education and resources around drug prevention and mental health.
