My name is Sharon Danaher and I am so thrilled to be back at Forest Elementary this year. I live in Forest, Virginia, with my husband Phil. We have two grown daughters, two son-in-laws, a granddaughter, and two grandsons. I have worked as an accountant, an elementary teacher, and most recently, school librarian at Forest Elementary School. I am excited for the new challenges this year brings and can't wait to learn with you.

Aside from my educational career, I enjoy reading for pleasure. My favorite book is Maniac Magee, by Jerry Spinelli. The lessons learned from this book are invaluable. Another book that I enjoy is Mr. Peabody's Apples by Madonna. While the author may seem surprising, the life lesson in this picture book is wonderful for all ages.
