Dancers interested in joining NHSDA are required to be registered in dance classes in any of the local private dance studios, along with the dance classes at LHS. There is a GPA requirement, service hour requirement, and the obtaing of points for membership. NHSDA Dancers meet before and after school to learn additional choroeography for extra perfoming opportunities. Dancers travel to the High School Dance Festival each year to take master classes, audition for scholarships, and watch outstanding dance concerts. NHSDA Dancers who obtain high honors, will receive honor cords to wear at graduation.
