Meet with your Career Coach to make your plans and/or to find a CVCC Program of Study:
If you plan to attend CVCC after graduation, or
If you desire to take classes at CVCC as a dual-enrolled student, or
If you’re unsure about what you might study in college or do after college, or
If you think college will take too long to get to a career.
Complete the Virginia Community College System online application which allows you to attend any college within the VCCS.

Visit www.centralvirginia.edu and click the "Apply Now" button at the top of the page or go directly to the application here. Have your Social Security Number ready to input or you'll have to add it later for Financial Aid.
If you have taken dual enrolled classes, you already have an application on file with CVCC.
Use these instructions if you need your CVCC ID and/or username.
If you are unable to login to MyCVCC, follow the password reset instructions which has the IT phone number on the last page if you get stuck.
Meet Admission Requirements*:
For Dual Enrollment transfer courses, meet CVCC class placement requirements of a GPA >3.0 and successful completion of Algebra II or have qualifying SAT scores of 530 for Math and 480 for ERW. Students who don't meet a placement measure may contact your Career Coach to find out how to take the Virginia Placement Test.
For Dual Enrollment for CTE courses, placement requirements are based on the program, so contact your Career Coach for details.
High School Graduates may review their College Readiness for Math and English transfer classes.
For Seniors enrolling in a Program of Study after graduation or looking to take transfer courses, contact your Career Coach to get an appointment with your CVCC Navigator.
* SAT or AP Scores may also be used for placement.
Complete the FAFSA if enrolling in a Program of Study. (Not for dual enrollment.)

Students eligible in earning college credit while completing high school may choose:
to dual enroll in classes taught at JFHS through CVCC (College Composition, Pre-Calculus, College Literature, Engineering) at a reduced cost.
and/or Sophomores may submit applications for Bedford County dual enrollment Sophomore opportunities (CVCC Early College or STEM, CTE Academy, GSTC, and CVGS) for various costs.
and/or may take CVCC classes, or pursue a CVCC General Studies Associates or Uniform Certificate of General Studies, or a specific CVCC Dual Enrollment Program at full tuition cost.
