General Objective:
-Transform construction into an inclusive field for women through innovative VET programs addressing gender biases.
Specific Objectives / Key goals:
1) Develop bias-countering education;
2) Increase female participation and retention;
3) Promote industry-wide inclusivity;
4) Build support networks for women.
We’ll implement VET curriculum development, educator training, industry partnership feedback sessions, mentorship programs, and digital platform creation for peer learning. Activities include workshops, surveys, feedback collection, program adaptation, and stakeholder engagement events to enhance gender inclusivity in construction education.
We expect enhanced gender inclusivity in construction VET programs, improved mentorship and support networks, stronger industry-education links, and broad stakeholder engagement. Outcomes include updated curricula, trained educators, engaged industry partners, and a supportive community fostering women’s success in construction careers.
