Science fair directors and teachers will review paperwork for all projects to ensure they adhere to ISEF rules. Projects with incomplete or missing paperwork risk getting rejected from BHSE. It is preferred, but not necessary for you to have your abstract completed by this date. The SRC will be looking specifically at your RESEARCH PLAN to see if is a project that meets ISEF guidelines, and based on the plan, which paperwork is necessary. They will then make sure that all correct paperwork is in order, that dates for approvals occur before the start date, that form 1B is actually signed by both student and parent, etc.
