BHSE is following the same guidelines as NWSE for what you need in your hybrid fair project submission folder. You can find the checklist for HS Fair Project Requirements here. Basically, it will be signed copies of your approval forms, a copy of your abstract, a copy of your research plan, and your slide deck. (As a hybrid fair, you will NOT be doing a 3 minute video - that is for virtual fairs!)
Below are the criteria judges will use to evaluate and provide feedback on your project. These criteria are what that the judges will be looking for when reviewing your projects and during your interview. Use these criteria to refine your project and presentation.
You will have approximately 7 minutes with each judge in your category. You should open with a brief 2 minute project summary (remember that the judges will have already reviewed all of your Google folder files, including your abstract and slide deck).
After your initial 2 minute project summary, the judges will spend approximately 5 minutes asking you questions about your project.
Dress professionally within your means, this could be a shirt and tie, a nice shirt, dress, or other professional clothing. If you need support with finding professional attire please reach out to fair directors Melissa Shell for Beaverton (melissa_shell@beaverton.k12.or.us) or Natasha Echeverria for Hillsboro (echevern@hsd.k12.or.us)
