What is Title I?

Title I is a federally funded program. The federal government uses a formula based on the number of students that qualify for free and reduced lunches to determine the amount of money each school receives towards their Title I program each year. Qualifying for a free and reduced lunch does not have anything to do with which students receive services in Title I. Any student in the building may qualify for Title I services.
