This is my second year as a full time Title 1 Reading & Reading Recovery Teacher. This year I will spend half my day at Valley Elementary and the other half at Shaw Elementary. I am entering my 10th year of teaching.

Previously I taught Spanish at Beavercreek High School for 5 years which included Spanish 1 through AP Spanish. Prior to Beavercreek, I spent 3 years teaching middle school and high school Spanish in Milford, Ohio.

Reading is such an important life skill and I'm happy to help your child strengthen their reading abilities and share my love of reading with them. For the past 8 years I've taught students to read in a second language and have seen the benefits of literacy on all areas of a student's learning.

I'm originally from Michigan, but reside in Dayton with my husband and 4 year old daughter Abby and our dog Daisy. Abby loves to read also!
