Welcome to a 21st Century Classroom!
Learning and becoming leaders in the 21st Century requires curriculum to be presented, many times, in new ways. My classes utilize the power of current technology that empowers them to access all student work, assignments, and assessments from within the Google Classroom.
In addition, students will learn through hands-on, inquiry based lessons that will help them become cooperative independent empathetic problem solving leaders.
Student work will be updated through ProgressBook and through Google Classroom.

Fifth Grade Explorer Teams
To promote the experience of a 21st Century Classroom, student classes will be organized into Explorer Teams. One of many great things about teaching Fifth Grade is the curriculum! Your child will be learning Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth/Space Science. Fifth graders are at the perfect age to learn about the world around them, develop the curiosity to explore new things through problem solving with others, and all the while we support and encourage them as they become more independent learners. That is why my classroom mission statement is Learn | Support | Explore.
