Homework & Important Information

Homework Update:  We will be recording our homework in our Homework Planners/Agenda together in class.  You should see it filled out weekly, since we will be doing it together in school to help form this study skills habit.   Please be sure to check in daily and sign the planner for that day.  We will be learning this important work organization tool.   I'll be prompting the kids that once they get home to come see you with the planner or put in on the counter/table where you can see it daily to go over with them as well as showing you their homework.  Although, you might have to help remind them or ask to see it as we start to get back in the swing of things and develop it.   Also, this is an important carry over to home in practicing our responsibility character education trait that we will be working on in Science/Health that helps your child keep track of his/her homework.   If you don't see anything written in your child's planner, please reach out to me in email or a note.

ProgressBook Online Gradebook:  This year, you will now have access to your child's grades and missing assignments.  The district sent out an email using the primary account from Oneview on Aug. 10th.   They will provide you with directions to create your account. Please save  this email.   Update- Paper letters went home in your kiddo's Take Home Folder on Tuesday Sept 5th to those who still needed to create their parent and/or student's account.  Thank you to our technology department for putting them together for us and to Mrs. Walk for printing a hard copy to send home for you.   I will be touching base soon with more information on this wonderful tool.

Math Daily Homework -  The weekly themed math homework has started on the Sept 5th week.  It should always stay in their "Return to school" section of their orange Take Home Folder.  These problems should go back and forth between home and school.   It will be called "Math Homework".  We work on it at school in our "study hall" time, and finish (if needed) at home.  Even if some of it is done, I'm still telling the kids it's a good idea to show you, so it can be double checked. See the following homework schedule:
