Mrs. Kahlig

Hello fantabulous 4th graders!  My name is Mrs. Kahlig and I am so excited to be working with you and your parents.  This is my 27th year teaching 4th grade.  I started teaching 4th grade at Main Elementary and moved to Trebein.

I graduated from Wright State University with an Elementary Education degree.  Go Raiders! I found my true love of teaching reading when I graduated from the University of Dayton with a Reading master’s degree.  Go Flyers!  I absolutely love teaching Reading and Writing, and cannot wait to pass the love of reading on to you!  I also like teaching the other subjects.  We have so many cool topics that we will cover this year.

I live in Beavercreek with my husband, two daughters, and our two boxers, Bentley and Arlo.  We are so excited to have them in our family and find ourselves laughing at them all the time.  I cannot wait to share Bentley and Arlo stories with you.   My oldest daughter, Ava, is a  sophmore at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.  My youngest daughter, Nora, is a junior and plays lacrosse at BHS.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, boating, golfing, playing with Bentley and Arlo, and doing things with my family and friends.

Can’t wait to get to know you!

To the parents, please don’t hesitate to send me an email or note to help me learn about your child.  I look forward to working with you and your child.

Mrs. Kahlig
