Middle School Competition Cheerleading Tryout Results
Congratulations to our 26-27 Competition Teams!
Please plan on attending a mandatory parent/cheerleader meeting following sideline in the
Coy Commons on Tuesday 5/12 at 7pm.
All cheerleaders and parents will be added to a Parent Square/Student Square group for Middle School Competition Cheer. We will post information about the meeting next week through this group. We recommend having the app downloaded to your phones. You will also receive emails of any posts made through the app.

What is Competition Cheer?
Comp cheer is a performance based, choreographed routine. Comp cheer begins in August and runs through February with competitions occuring October-February. Comp cheer is considered a winter sport. Attending weekly team tumbling is a requirement of being a comp cheerleader
Traditional Competition-
This routine is 2:30 and incorporates a lot of running tumbling, dance and a cheer
Gameday Competition-
This routine is 3 minutes and consists of a band dance, offense/defense cheer, crowd cheer and fight song. No running tumbling is allowed.
