CTE Pathways at GVHS
We are very excited to offer 4 CTE Online Pathways at GVHS. Interested students will have the opportunity to take courses pertaining to the following Career Pathways: Hospitality and Tourism (Introduction to Culinary and Restaurant Management), Arts, Audio/Video Technology, and Communications (Digital Photo I and II) , and Health Science (Nursing Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician). In addition, we now offer an in-person medical pathway!! Please inquire within for details.
Health Science and Medical Technology
Pathways:
If you are interested in exploring the medical or first response fields these courses are for you. Learn the introductory skills needed to work in healthcare professions and first response teams. Your knowledge by learning patient care practices as they directly apply to various health problems, injuries and emergency situations will enable you get you in the right direction to a career pathway in the medical or first response fields.
Career Choices: Medical assistant, home health aide, licensed practical nurse, physician, therapist, registered nurse, physician, EMT / paramedic, firefighter, lifeguard, sports therapist, athletic trainer, fitness instructor, etc.
