Red Ribbon Week Purpose
Red Ribbon Spirit Week is a nationally recognized campaign held annually in schools to promote drug awareness and prevention. The primary purpose is to encourage students to make healthy, drug-free choices and to build a strong foundation for a safe and supportive school environment. Through themed dress-up days, educational activities, and school-wide events, students learn about the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of living a drug-free lifestyle. It also fosters school spirit, unity, and personal responsibility, empowering students to stand up against peer pressure and make positive life decisions.
