INDOOR TRACK CLUB
Frequently Asked Questions:
Is Indoor Track a formal BEA Sport? No. Indoor Track is a club. Though we are expected to follow the rules and expectations of the district and department of athletics, we also have the right and obligation to add our own rules/expectations where we see fit.
Do you need to Try-Out? There are NO tryouts for Indoor Track. Any student who would like to participate is welcome. However, in order to be in good standing, ALL paperwork must be submitted to the athletic office by 12/15.

Where do we meet for practice? Back Hallway outside of the Auxiliary Gym
What days will we practice? Tuesday and Thursdays. Please note our practice schedule may vary due to weather and facility availability.
What time does practice start and end? Practice will start precisely at 3:30 in our assigned meeting place. Practice will conclude by 5:45 PM for the Activity Bus. Students may sign out early with coach approval and parent/guardian transportation.
Attendance Policy? Due to the fact that it is a club, coaches will understand when there are potential conflicts with the schedule. Please try to let us know of any conflicts in advance.
NOTE: We do take attendance. We have the right to remove any student from our roster if he/she is not meeting our expectations. This includes unexcused absences, disobeying club rules, or violating school district policies.
Is practice always inside? No. We often go outside and there is an expectation that members will come prepared for practice every day. This means everyone should have hats, gloves and other associated warm weather gear in order to participate.
Will we be competing at any Indoor Track meets? To be determined. Our hope is to travel to a couple of different events, but this is dependent upon interest, participation, transportation, and cost.
Do I have to compete at the Indoor Track meets? No. Competing during the Indoor Track season is voluntary. Indoor track meets work similar to Invitationals where multiple schools compete at once.
Effort and Hard Work is Expected: Understand respectfully that ALL athletes are welcome to join Indoor Track, but we are NOT a babysitting service. Anyone who joins us is expected to do their best and work hard. Our staff expects each participant to put forth their best effort in practice and work to improve daily.
*Our coaches are doing this on a volunteer basis. Please be patient and communicate any questions or concerns in a timely and respectful manner.
