Regardless of your current level of fitness, it is effort and work ethic that bring results.


Cross country meets do not go on for hours like other sporting competitions.  This leaves plenty of time for homework, part-time jobs, other extra curriculars, etc.

Also, you do not need special gear to participate in cross country.  A good pair of running shoes will be your most  valuable investment.


Training and the races are all based on your effort! Each day is a chance to perform a little better than the day before!

Team comradery is nurtured and valued throughout the season.  Whether you're persevering through a race or a practice, you will be supported every step of the way.


Setting, striving for, and attaining goals will help you build self confidence as well as resilience.

You will likely be exhausted, breathless, and parched, but the sense of accomplishment will feel so rewarding!


Cross country will provide an opportunity for you to establish an ongoing appreciation for health and wellness.  Through hours of shared training and bus rides to and from competitions, you'll create memories to cherish for a lifetime.  Your teammates will become some of your best friends!
