This week my whole troop got our Merit badge forms to fill out for summer camp. Every year we go to a summer camp and during the day we sign up for merit badges and we work on them. They offer things from Nature, Computers, to Space exploration. How it works is that you schedule for the merit badge class you want and they make your schedule(like school). This summer I plan on taking 4 merit badges, and those are Chess, Chemistry, Nature, and mammal study.
What did I do this week? This week I accomplished a lot, I finally was able to email two counselors to talk to, I am meeting with a lady for my citizenship in the community, and I'm meeting with my Scoutmaster to finish communications. I also have started my personal fitness merit badges and next week after I meet with all three of the merit badge counselors that I need to.
What will I be doing next week? Next week as I said I will be meeting with three of my counselors to finish communications, Citizenship in society, and citizenship in the community. But after that, I will only have Three more Eagle-required merit badges. The three badges that I have left are Personal fitness, Personal management, and cooking.
What problems did I come into contact with this week? This week I didn't have that many problems but there was one thing that makes me a bit disappointed. I really want to do some merit badges like American Business, Public speaking, American heritage, ect. But I don't know if there are any merit badge counselors that teach those.
One solution to that problem that I know of is that they offer online merit badge classes and i can sign up for them and get the merit badge I want.
This is Citizenship in society and we learn how to be accepting of everyone and how to make sure everyone feels included.
This is Communications merit badge and For this one you learn about the best ways to communicate and you talk to people and give speeches
This is citizenship in the community and You can get this by learning stuff like the history of Jackson, and other things about your community

This is called the Blue card, We use these for the merit badges, We have to fill out all the information in it like my name, address, and what we have done for the merit badge. Then we have to turn it into the merit badge counselor. We have to turn this to get the merit badge.
