Dear Parents,

We will send home order forms monthly for Scholastic's Book Club. Book Club provides you with an opportunity to purchase good and popular literature for your child at very reasonable prices. You are not obligated to purchase anything, but please know that each purchase made helps our classroom as well.

If you decide to order books, please return the completed order form with your child's name and a check for the total amount made out to Scholastic Book Club. All orders must be paid in advance. For your convenience, Scholastic also offers an online ordering system as well. Every time a parent orders a book online, our class will earn a FREE book for our classroom library. Here is what you need to do:

• Follow the link below to get to the Scholastic Book Clubs web page

• Sign up for an account and be sure to link it to our classroom by using the activation code: NK7RX (This ensures that your child's order will come to me)

• Browse through the books and make selection to place an order with a credit card

• Your child's order will come to me and your credit card payment will go directly to Scholastic's secure server. There's no need to send money to school if you are ordering online.

• After I submit the entire class order to Scholastic, your order will be delivered to our classroom for your child to take home

Our first classroom due date will be September 10th. Thank you in advance for taking the time to select books for your child and to help build our classroom library!
