Bearsted Primary Academy Sports Day

On Thursday 04th July, we hosted our annual sports day. We were very lucky with the weather on that day as our reserve day was incredibly wet!

Firstly, we would like to thank all of our parents and carers for being respectful and considerate with parking arrangements and for coming out in droves to support your children. It is moments like this in the academy calendar that allow us to step back and value the real sense of community that we have here at Bearsted Primary Academy. It is truly humbling. We would also like to thank DJ Coulson for providing the entertainment, keeping everyone to time and ensuring that it ran as smoothly as possible and all of our staff for their hardwork and dedication, we are lucky to have such a fantastic team!

Even though our pupils are divided into house colours,  in order to streamline the scoring process for staff and pupils on the day, pupils were allocated a 'Sports Day Colour' (Ruby, Emerald or Amber). This means that the overall winner was a result of collaboration from Nursery to Year 5. All academy staff were proud of the achievements of all on the day. Below you can view the overall results.
