Our Mission
Our Mission
The SRJC Business and Economics Club brings economics and business-related majors together to network and better our understanding of economics.
In our meetings, we discuss various concepts in the world of business and economics. We take business and economic themes and apply them to fun learning activities, allowing our members to engage and collaborate with each other. Additionally, we have debates, discussions, and presentations based on student research and the occasional field trip to a local business.
We are not associated with any economic network and do not endorse any specific economic theory. All perspectives are welcome in our club.
History
History
The SRJC Economics Club has experienced periods of intermittent activity in the past. However, in Fall 2022, a dedicated group of students took the initiative to revitalize and rebuild the club from scratch. Since then the club has evolved into its most current and improved form: The SRJC Business & Economics Club as of Spring 2023. We hope to pass the torch on continuously for as long as possible over the years.
