Membership in the Bear Creek Association
Membership in the Bear Creek Association is available to current and former Village residents and landowners. To become a member of the Bear Creek Association, each prospective new member completes an online Membership Application Form, which is submitted to the Board of Governors. Membership in the Bear Creek Association is accepted without regard to race, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), religion, disability, national or ethnic origin, or age and is available to all Borough residents.
Benefits of Membership Include the Following:
Use of lake for swimming, fishing, boating, (small electric motors only), ice-skating, and ice fishing.
Use of beach and children’s playground equipment.
Use of recreational area for horseshoes, baseball, volleyball, and basketball games.
The picnic area is available for members, and larger, private picnics can be reserved with advance notice.
Located at the recreational area, we have two well-maintained tennis courts for use by Association members, who join the tennis club
Use of Clubhouse for community gatherings and private parties, available to members to rent. Members may sponsor family and/or friends for parties, according to Clubhouse regulations.
Our Clubhouse is utilized for Borough and Association meetings, election headquarters for general and primary elections and special events.
Educational and creative opportunities are offered throughout the year, as well as our Social events.
Our Annual Picnic is held the last Saturday of July and holiday gatherings throughout the year.

Cost of Membership
Bear Creek Association Membership costs areas follows:
All new homeowners with voting privileges pay a Capital Fund Contribution in the amount of $500, *payable over five (5) years. This fund has been established to maintain and preserve our assets, which include the Clubhouse, lake, dam, and recreational area.
There are four (4) types of membership:
Type A. Homeowners with voting privileges at Association meetings–Dues are $500/yr.*
Type B. Owners of unimproved land. Dues are $l50/yr.* Non-voting status.
Type C. Former Association members in good standing, and their children, who no longer own property in the Borough. Dues are $100/yr.* Non-voting status.
Type D. Renters of homes in the borough. Dues are $500/yr.* Non-voting status.

Bear Creek Tennis (and pickleball) Club
If you are interested in joining the tennis club, it is a an additional $100/year. You can contact Tom or Stephanie Hamel for more information. If you wish to pay for dues for the 2024 season, please send checks payable to the Bear Creek Tennis Club to:
