When you're building a new home, the process can feel overwhelming. There are so many moving parts—and once something is built over or covered up, it’s often too late (or expensive) to fix. That’s why our Stage Construction Inspections are designed to give you confidence at every milestone—ensuring your builder is sticking to the plan, meeting industry standards, and not cutting corners.

What Are Stage Construction Inspections?

Stage inspections are independent quality checks carried out at key points during your home’s construction. We work for you—not your builder—so you can be sure you're getting exactly what you've paid for, done the right way, before each stage is signed off.

The Typical Stages We Inspect:

• Slab Stage:
  We confirm the slab has been poured to the correct dimensions, levels, and complies with your engineering plans. We'll check for cracking, drainage, setdowns and termite protection.

• Frame Stage:
  We assess the wall and rof frame for compliance with plans, NCC (National Construction Code), and AS1684. We check tie-downs, bracing, alignment, and straightness before walls are enclosed.

• Lock-Up Stage:
  At this point, your external doors, windows, and roof are usually installed. We check water barriers, flashings, weather seals, and any external finishes before internal work continues.

• Fixing Stage:
  We inspect internal fit-outs such as cabinetry, doors, architraves, cornices, and ceilings—ensuring everything is installed level, plumb, and to a professional finish.

• Pre-Handover (PCI Prep):
  A comprehensive review before your builder walks you through the final PCI (Practical Completion Inspection), helping you identify any last issues before the final reveal.
