INTENT: Children can retell a story using recently introduced vocabulary.

IMPLEMENTATION: Children to use the story spoons and picture prompts to act out the story of Rama and Sita.

INTENT: Children can use recently introduced vocabulary to re-tell a familiar story.

IMPLEMENTATION: Children to use colourful semantics and picture prompts to re-tell the nativity story.

IMPACT: Children are starting to understand the colourful semantics features for -who, what, what doing and where. 

INTENT: Blend sounds into words, so that they can read short words made up of known letter-sound correspondences.

IMPLEMENTATION: Children to identify words from the story and choose which word describes the picture

IMPACT: Children are starting to blend CVC words for reading. 

INTENT: To identify initial sounds.

IMPLEMENTATION: Within this lesson the EYFS children used pictures to idneitfy and spot the initial sound in each word.

IMPACT: The children can now spot initial sounds in order to help them with their reading.

IMPLEMENTATION: Children can hold a pen in  tripod grip and follow instructions to form a cursive letter.
