INTENT: To develop the Reception children’s fine motor skills.
IMPLEMENTATION: Within this activity, the EYFS children worked on using a range of small tools to work on their fine motor skills. This included using scissors, paintbrushes and spoons/scoops!
IMPACT: The children’s fine motor skills are improving as they gain confidence using a range of small tools.
INTENT: For the EYFS children to be able to use a ruler to draw a straight line.
IMPLEMENTATION: Within this lesson, the Reception children learned all about constellations! We then had a go at drawing our own using rulers to make sure our lines were straight.
IMPACT: The children now know the correct technique for using rulers.
