Aaron Wang PYPX 2019-2020

Dear Readers,

I would like to introduce you to my PYP Exhibition page. My name is Aaron Wang - welcome.

Hi again, my name is Aaron Wang from Beacon Hill School in Kowloon Tong and I am currently in Year 6. My favorite activity is to read novels such as Harry Potter and Percy Jackson . I live with my mom and dad and I am an only child. Sometimes my Grandma or Grandpa also come over to stay even though they have their own houses in Mainland China.

In Year 6, I am proud that I worked hard to present myself effectively, and got chosen as a House Captain of Happiness House. I have also been very active in online class activities. I have managed to do this because of the fact that I am online every day to do homework and activities. In Year 6 I enjoyed the online quizizz and the extra activities such as readworks and Kahoot. I didn't really enjoy the Nearpod because it was hard to write on the screen even with my google pixelbook pen that I usually use to write things. I am also proud of my other achievements such as Year 6 camp. In the Year 6 camp, I learned and tried a lot of new things. For example, in camp I did my first jetty jump and was the first time that I ever camped outside before.

In Year 6 I am a bit nervous about the Primary Years Program Exhibition because the learning routine has changed and it is now online. I would very much like to get involved in a type of group that has the same ideas as I have in Exhibition. Soon I will be starting secondary school, I am most nervous about the new layout plan because it will take a long time to get used to. I am also nervous about new friends. I don't have a lot of friends who are going to Shatin College. My only friend is Mason and he's going to be leaving in a year. What I am looking forward to is the new subjects in middle school such as French, Science and possibly Food Technology! I can choose independently. We are also moving to a new house in a new neighborhood so it will take some getting use to.
