Exhibition prototype: Extension games for Year 1 students
15.3.2021
Using the article above (link in bibliography), I used the 321 reflection plan to reflect on what I have learnt in the article, 3 means you have to come up with 3 things you learnt (in general), 2 means 2 words you learnt, and 1 means you have to think of 1 question/wonder.

In my planner I noted down what software's I could use to make a game and I decided the best was kahoot, and I roughly wrote the steps I will need to finish my prototype.
Making the Year 1 kahoot game
Using the kahoot platform I made an extension game for Year 1 and here are some pictures, even though it is not finished yet, I think it will turn out well.

Summary
People liked the type of questions there were, and it had pictures of numicons to help the younger students, and there were different level of difficulties.
People wished that there were an easy, medium and hard level for each year group, and that you could choose your own nickname in the beginning of the kahoot (Already done)
People think I could improve if I made more questions, and to reduce the number of screen time for the younger students, it could be better if I made a physical game instead of an online game.
I need to think of how to make a physical game, and what type of game it would be.

I like that you used numicons (for the bingo card) to help them count.
I wish that you would draw the amount of item in the word problem cards to help them visualize the question.
What if you outlined the words in a black marker so you can see it properly on the dark paper (like red).
