All About Me

My Website Profile

To my Fellow readers of this site:

Hi there! My name is Enoch. I went to Beacon Hill Primary School, and in fact- I still am! I have a very deep passion for music, but I don’t mind getting into a bit of fun sometimes! I also dedicate this site to my family, as well as my teacher. They have all been giving me so much encouragement, and it has led to this very website you are looking at right now.

Have you ever seen a cute little toddler? When a little baby comes into the world, being wet and wriggling, you treasure it dearly. Imagine going back in time to tell something to your old self. I’m pretty sure I would say “Don’t wear the ugly socks that I wore for five years!” When I was a toddler, I remember that I would always make noises, and eat nonstop. I absolutely LOVED bananas back then. I looked like a hungry monkey!

Fast forward into the present, as I am in the final days of my time at primary school as a year six student, I reflect back on the many things I have done over the time. One of my favourites was being able to go camping and do a Jetty Jump at Y6 camp! Another is the time we got to carry out a project, on how to make sports day better. This involved learning about and using the design thinking process which included interviews with students and teachers and all sorts. I had to show interest, and make eye contact, showing my communication. Best of all I liked our science unit, as it was the one that brought creativity bubbling to the surface. Literally! I was able to combine highlighter and bubble mix, to create a nice mixture of glowing neon bubbles! I have managed all this because of two words: determination and perseverance. These are the two skills that have helped me, and will continue to help me all my life.

I am definitely a bit worried about high school. There are lots of things to do, and I’m afraid that it’ll be too hard. How embarrassing it would be to mess up on the first day!

Then again I am looking forward to a new start, with new challenges and responsibilities in the long journey to come. I plan to get involved with maybe the IHM, the Inter House music competition! Yet this is just one of the many things that I want to do. Approaching high school, I aim to stay positive, because who knows what will happen!

I’m also focusing on the time right now: I know inevitably I will be separated from my friends when we grow up. What will I be thinking then? Worry? Despair? No matter how we hold on to things, sometimes they have to go. My great-grandpa died quite recently, and I couldn’t hold back tears, as the good memories with me telling him a story, his voice quiet and kind as he spoke. I want you to know today that, well, we have to move on. Looking at all the bad things will just keep you unhappy. Just like I said before, think positive. I’m sure you will find the courage.

This site has been made to show you my learning process and my journey as a learner. I hope this encourages you to do the best you can, now and the future.

Oops, looks like I forgot a dedication: You. Yes, you, reading this site! You have given me the opportunity to show myself, my learning and thinking, and out of all the things you could be doing, you’re looking at this site. Thank you.
