The Hospitality and Catering group worked with the Baker Chef and the Executive Head Chef from restaurant Green and Fortune.
Shakari and Cameron have been vying for the top Chef position all week! There was a vote at the end (possibly for biggest ego); Shakari conceded defeat.
They baked some amazing cakes and muffins as well as a mouthwatering chicken pie. They also worked with Ms Simons to try their hand at Nando’s style marinated chicken (which I’m told was better than Nando’s own). On Thursday, they visited the Arsenal Stadium and met the catering team, armed with questions from watching Masterchef. They also worked with a food stylist who has worked on several big events including a Royal wedding.

Students prepare creative desserts, work with top chef and a highly sought after food stylist. They also got to visit the Emirates and meet the catering team at Arsenal.
Sectors
Our students worked on a project for a week in these sectors. The following week we held a celebration where student sould see what each group had created and prizes were awarded for the most outstanding LORIC skills from each sector.
