Health Screenings

State Required Health Screenings

Health screenings are an important way to help identify any potential health needs so that together we can better support our students. These screenings are also a state requirement to be completed throughout the year.  The chart below explains what the state requirements are per grade.  We would like to extend the hearing screen to all our students regardless of grade. If your child is not scheduled for a hearing screening and you do not want him/her to be screened please contact the nurse. 

Opting Out 09/30

If you do not wish to have your child screened please send an email to  cceceri@beachhavenschool.com and specify which screening you are opting out of. Please send all emails by 09/30.  If you have chosen to opt your child out, you must provide documentation that your child has had the screening by a doctor as soon as possible.
