At BDMS, we recruit students in the spring for the following year. We require students to take our summer band lessons to learn the basics of their instrument so that they will have success when they are with all the other instruments in the band.
Did you miss this? Here is what you can do...
Students beginning without the summer lessons will need to get lessons on the basics of their instrument plus learn to read and play the first 8 notes. There are limited times during the year that Mrs. Battenberg is able to do these lessons after school, or your student can get some private lessons to get this start. For more information, contact Mrs. Battenberg.
