白板四周的佈置都以平常上課會用到的招呼語或句型為主（例如：天氣、日期、季節、字母、數字、自然發音卡等）。讓學生觀察教室內的物品有哪些，做快問快答的練習。例如：若是要引導學生認識形狀，可以請學生先看看牆上的佈置圖案，再請學生說出其顏色，如此一來，不僅可以了解學生的字彙能力，同時也可學習或複習相關的主題內容，並做延伸學習。除了運用佈置物品做教學外，學生也會因為圖案的吸引更進一步去了解其中的文字，達到間接的學習效果。
牆壁上根據該月的主要節慶做相關的規劃佈置，定期每週一句或表揚海報等，激發學生的好奇心及學習動機，另外遇上節慶時，也可讓學生一同參與佈置，運用相關的佈置物，解說該節慶的背景，讓學生從無形中學到語言與文化。
在閱讀課程中，使用一些輔助學生了解閱讀內容的教具。例如：引導學生閱讀《三隻小豬》的故事時，除了搭配故事圖片，帶領唸誦外，可運用故事佈置圖將故事內容分成beginning、middle及end三大部分，讓學生了解故事的鋪陳方式。最後，再次運用這些故事圖片，請學生看圖說故事。
校園內的中庭閱角讀（Reading Corner）讓學生在下課時間、早到學生、假日到校親子、等候家長接送的時間，可以充分使用。
Greeting words and sentences are mostly decorated around the whiteboard (such as: weather, date, seasons, alphabet, number, and phonic cards, etc). We will play lightning round after students observing what objects they see in the classroom. For example, if we want the students to understand the shape, we will first let students to look at the pattern of decoration and then say what the color is. This not only can understand students' vocabulary skill, but it can also let them learn, review the related topics and do extended learning. In addition to using the decorated objects for study, students can also interpret the meaning of each pattern so it can meet the learning outcome indirectly.
For the purpose of stimulating students' curiosities and motivation to learn, there will be a festival decoration, sentence of the week, and student poster awards regularly on each wall every month. Furthermore, when we come across certain festival, students can join festival decoration together. This not only can learn the background of each festival, but students can also learn the culture and language.
Build up English Reading Corner in the library and decorate a theme-based classroom
In the reading class, we will use teaching aids to help students understand reading content. For instance, when we lead students to read the story of《The Three Little Pigs》, we can divide the story content into three parts: beginning, middle, and end and this can help students to understand the story layout. At last, students will do story telling through story cards.
English Reading Corner is everywhere in the school
Students can make the best of Reading Corner when they come to school early or weekend, finish school and wait for their parents, or come to school during the weekend.
