Circulation Information
Students may check out general circulation materials for two weeks. A student may check out reference materials overnight with the permission of Mrs. Helbling. Fines are not assessed on late content. However, students must pay for lost or damaged articles in full.
Professional Collection
A Professional Collection has been established for teachers and staff that provide resources for curriculum and professional development. The collection has print, electronic, and professional journals that highlight the latest educational trends. Teachers and staff have unlimited access to all Media Center materials.
Library Services
Interlibrary Loan is available through the ACCESS PA program. Teachers and students can borrow materials from over 1,000 state public, academic, and school libraries. All students and staff are eligible to participate in the Bucks County Free Library System Interlibrary Loan Program. Please see Mrs. Helbling for more information.
Readers Advisory is an on-going service provided by the Media Specialist. Please do not hesitate to seek Mrs. Helbling’s recommendations for curriculum support materials and resources.

B.C.I.U. Professional Library
The Bucks County Schools Intermediate Unit Professional Library is a specialized collection that supports educational references and research from the undergraduate to graduate professional, and administrative levels. The Library holdings include approximately 1,500 books and 2,400 online periodicals and journals that reflect a wide range of subjects of interest to educators. Professional Library services are open to all BCIU22 staff members and all Bucks County public school teachers and administrators. Please fill out the Patron Request form to request a patron account. Professionals outside Bucks County and at local colleges can become subscribing members to the Professional Library for an annual fee of $25.00. The various groups of professionals working toward graduate degrees and certification in various IU programs also use library resources during their class time. These policies have opened the door to this unique facility to more educational professionals. Contact them to become a patron.
