Smash Brothers Tournament

On December 8th, 2022, BCTHS Reading Olympics held its first Super Smash Bros Tournament. Over 25 people participated in the competition, which was a huge success.

Austin Schoettle, a Multimedia, Digital Design & Programming sophomore, planned and organized the contest rules. We appreciate his dedication to the project. He did a fantastic job playing hours of Smash Bros to set up the tournament - What sacrifice! We also would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the following individuals. Lorilyi Lauro, Emily Takach, and Mr. Jared Small who were instrumental in keeping everyone on track. Special thanks to the IT Dept who made it all possible. Thanks to Mr. DeGeorge, who always support our team and our fundraising efforts.

A list of the winners is provided below, as well as photos from the event. Thanks to all who participated! We had a great time and couldn't have done it without you. As a result of its popularity, the tournament will become an annual event.

As a part of Reading Olympics fundraising efforts, we raise funds for the team's yearly trip to New York City to see a Broadway play;- this year, we are attending Aladdin on Broadway.
