PA Governor's Schools:
Health Careers Scholars Academy (UPHCSA) – held on the main campus of the University of Pittsburgh. Eligible students must be current high school sophomores or juniors and at least 15 years of age by the February application deadline. For students interested in any field of health care.
Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Intensive (IGEI) – held on the main campus of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. Eligible students must be current high school sophomores or juniors. The program's focus is careers in business.
Pennsylvania School for Excellence in the Agricultural Sciences: (PSEAS) – held on the main campus of Penn State University. Applicants must be a Pennsylvania resident and a high school junior. The focus is on the variety of careers in Agricultural Science.
Baret is a global gap-year program for exceptional students. Starting in Fall 2024, an international cohort of 175 students will journey together across seven regions, on five continents, over 200 days. 40 bright applicants will receive gap-year scholarships ranging from $10,000 to $105,000, including 20 need-based full rides. https://www.baretscholars.org/

College Scholarship Program: The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend the nation’s best four-year colleges and universities. College Scholars receive up to $40,000 per year, college planning support, ongoing advising, and the opportunity to network with the larger JKCF Scholar community. The application period is open from late September to late November. Up to 40 College Scholars are selected for this program each year.
Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship: The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is a highly-selective scholarship for the nation’s top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor’s degrees at selective four-year colleges or universities. The Foundation provides up to $40,000 per year for up to three years, making it the largest private scholarship for community college transfer students in the country. The application period is open from late August to late October. Up to 55 Undergraduate Transfer Scholars are selected each year.
