Cabinetmaking, 2008
Fine Woodworking Teacher
Bucks County Technical. High School
Fairless Hills, PA
"I came through the Bucks County Technical High School from 1998 - 2001 as a student of the Cabinetmaking Program. While in school I was a SkillsUSA competitor, a member of the National Technical Honor Society, a cooperative education student, and I participated in various varsity athletics at my sending district. The hands-on education students get from BCTHS enables students to be well equipped to gain skillful employment, join our armed forces, or further their education at a post-secondary institution. My education at BCTHS inspired me to go onto college and gain an Associates' Degree from the Pennsylvania College of Technology, a Bachelors' Degree from Penn State University, and a Masters' Degree from East Stroudsburg University. I am now in my 16th year of teaching Fine Woodworking/Cabinetmaking along with holding other various leadership roles throughout my tenure as a teacher, and it all started here at the Bucks County Technical High School."

Substitute Teacher
Bucks County Technical High School
Fairless Hills, Pa
"As a student at BCTHS I got to learn from some pretty awesome teachers who not only taught about their chosen subjects but also the life experiences and career-readiness needed to transition into the real world. Years later I’ve been blessed to return as a substitute, working along side of/ providing coverage for some of those very same teachers, and can proudly help to transition a new generation of students in the same way."
