North Carolina Department of Instruction provides information and activities on how to support your student in the various domains of 2nd grade reading.  

To login to Clever from any device, follow these steps.  

1. Visit www.bcswan.net

2. Select the tab labeled STUDENTS at the top of the page.  

3. Select CLEVER PORTAL.

4. Enter your students school email in full.  

Their email will be the first 2 initials of their first name, first 3 initials of their last name and last 3 digits of the student ID followed by @netmail.bcswan.net.  

Example:  Swampy Gator

Username:  swgat630@netmail.bcswan.net

5. Enter your student's password. (Abcd1234)
