IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR AP WORLD HISTORY - We use AMSCO as our main textbook for both AP World History. If your student would prefer to have their own copy of this book so that they are able to write in it, highlight, etc. you can purchase these through the publisher. Please see this link to purchase the AP World History book.
Purchasing this book is NOT a requirement, we will be supplying books through the school. This is just an additional opportunity as I have had students ask about being able to highlight and make notes.

NBHS Student Cell Phone/Electronic Devices Policy
Policy 4311 states no electronic devices during instructional minutes; 7:35 - 2:40, with the exception their lunch period. Inappropriate use of technology includes airpods, watches, phones, etc.
Phones are collected as students enter the classroom.
NBHS Tardy Policy
Students are considered tardy to class if they are not in their assigned classroom and ready to learn by the time the tardy bell rings.
Consequences for being tardy:
3rd Tardy - Conference/Warning
4th Tardy - 1 Day Lunch Detention
5th Tardy - 2 Days Lunch Detention
6th Tardy - 3 Days Lunch Detention
7th Tardy - 1 Day ISS & Administrative Parent Conference
8th Tardy - 1 Day ISS & Loss of Parking Pass for 1 week
9th Tardy - 2 Days ISS & Loss of Parking Pass for 2 weeks
10th Tardy - 3 days ISS & Loss of Parking Pass for 3 weeks
11th Tardy - 1 day OSS, Loss of Parking Pass for the Semester
12th Tardy - 3 days OOS, Behavior Contract & Administrative Parent Conference
Tardies are cumulative, which means they build up!
