World

The world in which we live in today was not given to us. All of which we have has been paved by the time, effort, and sacrifice by those before us. This is the essence of why we study history. To honor and learn from the ideas, people, and beliefs of the past in order to gain a better understanding and appreciation of the effects they have on us in the present. In this course we will examine a broad spectrum of historical topics and time periods from around the world with the hopes of broadening horizons and further comprehending how and why life is perceived so differently by the people who inhabit this earth.
