Everything that makes America great didn’t happen overnight in the blink of an eye. All of the liberties in which we possess and often take for granted were paved upon the sacrifices and hard work of the great men and women who have come before us. It is crucial for us to take the time, effort, and energy to acknowledge the people, situations, events, and experiences that have molded and shaped the character that encompasses America!
The American history course is presented in a thematic learning style, where students will focus on the overarching themes of American history, in order to understand the greater significance of critical events that shaped America. The course will cover American colonial history all the way through to modern times with an emphasis on both domestic and foreign conflicts/ compromise that have propelled the nation to the status in which it carries today.
