Novel reading - for the first 10 minutes of class, our group will read outloud and discuss key points of story text. Every week we will work on short summaries of what we have read.
Vocabulary Stems (previously in ELA classes) - Work with 5 stems a week with quiz once weekly
We will also be using organizers to gather information for essay writing
Grading :
70% : Unit Tests, Quizzes, Projects
30% : Classwork, Homework, Practice Questions, Exit Tickets
