I am a graduate of UNC-Wilmington, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science with a concentration in Biology.  I worked in Animal Medicine for eleven years and continue to hold a love for Biology, animals and nature.

I returned to UNC-Wilmington and earned a Master of Teaching degree with licensure to teach Middle School Science and Social Studies. I have worked in Brunswick County Schools since 2015.

I am originally from Charlotte, NC and have now lived in Brunswick County for 30 years. I have two children and three furry babies.

When I am not teaching I love to spend time with my kids and extended family. I enjoy being outdoors, I am a fan of soccer (Go FC Bayern Munich) and I love seeing live music!
